DR. ALAN ANTON

Dr Alan Anton  was born in Southgate, Michigan. Upon graduating from high school he entered the US Navy and served 4 years in the Pacific. After his discharge from the US Navy he graduated from Michigan State University and moved to North Carolina.  He mentored under Dr Walter Stinson in North Wilkesboro for two years.  Then in July 1982 he purchased Donahue Animal Hospital from Dr Dennis R. Donahue and changed the name to Healthy Petz Veterianary Clinic.  In January of 1985 land was purchased and a small modular clinic was placed on Enola Road.  As business and staff increased the current larger building was established in 1995. 

He was married for 24 years and has one son "Trevor".  He was a member of Moganton Rotary Club for 12 years. He is dating Patricia Triplett from Hickory.  His interests include hiking and walking. He belongs to the Catawba Outdoor Club.  You might also see him paddling, camping, fishing or watching too much TV.  Dr Anton has owned a variety of pets including dogs, cats, fish, birds, monkey, horses, and rats.

DR. JULIE ERIKSSON KIELL

Dr. Julie Eriksson Kiell is a 1989 graduate of Michigan State University, after graduation she worked at The Cat Practice in Michigan then moving to North Carolina and becoming an associate at Healthy Petz Veterinary Clinic in February 1998. With an interest in Western Medicine and Acupuncture she has studied with the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Being a accomplished equestrian she enjoys riding her 3 horses, spending time with her 3 Jack Russels and 2 feline companions. She also enjoys running in marathons & is an avid cycler. When you can’t find her doing one of these past times you are sure to find her at the pottery wheel. Out of the Ashes Pottery can be found at many local pottery shows.
